Lukas Müller – CEO & Portfolio Manager
Lukas completed his studies in marketing at Stellenbosch in 2003 and worked as property and project manager at a privately owned property portfolio in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town from 2003 to 2011.
Lukas joined Back Bay Properties in 2011 as the Property Portfolio Manager. With a dynamic, achievement focused management style, Lukas has a passion for property and a well-established performance record with more than 17 years’ experience.
Lynn Langenhoven – Property Accountant & HR Manager
Lynn holds a degree in Financial Accounting and Project Management as well as a CIMA: Certificate in Business Accounting. Lynn has worked in the financial industry since 2003 where she has gained invaluable experience in various companies throughout her career.
She had worked in the Property Management industry for 8 years prior to joining Back Bay Properties in 2018.
She uses her vast expertise in assisting the Portfolio Manager to manage the financial department while also being responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources, plans and programs are realized.
Taffryn Truter – Property Administrator
Taffryn joined the Back Bay Properties team in 2019 and has quickly become an integral part of the team.
She is known for her excellent communication skills, being able to handle difficult situations with ease and diplomacy.
She goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of both suppliers and tenants.
Tommy Parish – Maintenance Manager
Tommy completed his studies in 1986 in the Mechanical field which included design and maintenance of industrial and commercial equipment as well as mechanical plants.
He has 22 years’ experience in the Property Industry focusing on maintenance and restoration of buildings.
Tommy uses his extensive industry knowledge to manage all maintenance and repair issues within the property portfolio. Working closely with his team members in the Maintenance Department he is able to ensure quick turnaround times and produce work of a high standard, thereby keeping our tenants happy.
Chantè Jordaan – Leasing Administrator
Chantè has worked in the Property Industry since 2018, after a career in Lodge Management.
While expanding her career experience in the Residential Rental sector, she joined our team in 2022 as the Leasing Administrator. She is dynamic, energetic & a friendly addition to our team and thrives on working with people & problem solving.
She works closely with all departments to ensure smooth running of the Portfolio.
Monica De Bruin – Receptionist
Monica is the first face you will see when you visit Back Bay Properties.
As the newest member of our team Monica has proven to be a fast leaner in the field.
She is energetic and friendly with a strong focus on excellence, thereby ensuring that all inquiries are dealt with as high importance and a priority. Her passion for working with people and having excellent communication skills enable her to work efficiently as she strives to deliver exceptional client service.
Viljoen Van Heerden – Operations
Viljoen has worked with Backbay Properties since 2018.
He studied and graduated from the University of Stellenbosch after which he attained his PGDIP in Business Administration and Management at the University of Stellenbosch in 2023. He works with the company’s internal structures, helping with problem-solving and supporting the business’s daily functions by coordinating and overseeing administrative tasks, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth operational workflow. Ensuring overall efficiency of the company’s maintenance and administrative operations.
